ELPARO (FRANCE)

I have spent most of my life on the road meeting new cultures, considering myself as a world student, considering that others have much more to teach us than we imagine we can give them. These trips to the four corners of the world allowed me to develop myself, personally and artistically. Many projects have been developed with local communities and artists, sharing a common experience and above all creating a bond, an adventure which is finally more important than the result.

Even today my installations lead me to create in very diverse conditions, whether in the middle of nature, where respect is required, in the middle of the city, where human and architectural interaction is predominant, or in places without resources, such as in Lebanon where the raw material is far too precious to use it other than for building and heating. Adaptation is required, and this challenge makes me feel alive.

Another way to feel fully on Earth is to make long crossings on foot, whether it is the wild valleys of New Zealand, the crests of the Pyrenees or the desert crossing of Iceland. Naturally, Mongolia is a place where I want to set foot and discover its culture and wild landscapes.
